Core Values
In These We Feel Wholeness

Deep Earth Practices
We have a knowing that the Earth is our home. We practice ways of being in a relationship with Earth, with home, that awaken deeper love and respect for our planet.
Sacredness
We desire to create space to honor each individual's spiritual journey and explore the sacred through community and self-designed rituals, ceremonies, and rites of passage.

Gratitude
We reserve time to take pause to offer appreciation for what we value, what we find meaningful, and what makes us feel a connection to self, others, and earth.
Story Stewardship
We honor the sacred nature of story and practice being powerful stewards of both the narratives we tell and the ones we hear. We value the practice of deep heart listening and truth-speaking. We believe stories are powerful tools and gifts on our journeys to deeper understanding.

True Belonging
Unlike fitting in which requires us to be like everyone else, true belonging is when we feel free to be ourselves. It is the practice of showing up fully as you are and necessitates self-acceptance of the inner world. It is not external or out there.
Reciprocity
There is a great circle of gifting and receiving that we are constantly flowing within. We look for ways to find and grow our gifts and receive and honor the gifts of others. Within this flow, there is relationship. Relationship to ourselves, others, and the planet.

Heartwood

Study the cross-section of a tree with me?
Examine the layers all at once
xylem and phloem and cambium and sapwood
and go deeper still to the center
The beginning and the end
a circle expanding in concentric rings
one leading outward to the next
Trace them with your finger
follow the powerful seasonal changes
the expansion and contraction
Can you follow these rings into your own life?
Are you willing to try?
To see past the busy xylem and pestering phloem
of the surface world?
To the deeper and much quieter center?
to stillness?
Wildwood wonder at the heartwood
